Overview

A flexible and highly connective indicator, the ZM505 Weight Indicator features multiple built-in communication technology ports and is programmable to provide application specific solutions. With the ability to display, transmit and store data, the ZM505 offers an ideal solution for custom requirements.

High contrast graphical display

High contrast, Improved Black Nematic (IBN) graphic display provides excellent visibility and color contrast. With its wide viewing angles, the ultra-bright green and black graphic display is easily visible in extreme working conditions, limiting eye-strain and enhancing usability. A graphic array area to the right of the screen enables small user prompts or images to appear alongside the displayed weight data.

Enclosures

Constructed for use in the office, dusty, wet or high pressure, heavy washdown and outdoor environments, the desktop ZM505 is IP69K certified and enclosed in 304 brushed stainless steel. Ever versatile, the indicator also adapts to desk, wall or column mount applications and is also available in a stainless steel IP66 panel mountable version.

Keypads

The ZM505 features an alpha-numeric keypad with chemical resistant, metal domed keys, which give the user crisp, positive tactile feedback when compressed. Additionally, five programmable keys allow specific weighing tasks to be assigned to the indicator, allowing weighing operations to be carried out quickly and effectively. The ZM505 also supports the additional of external USB keyboard.

Tailored connectivity

Designed to ensure compatibility and communication between old and new peripheral technologies, the ZM505 has multiple serial and USB ports included as standard, with an Ethernet port that configures to support ten independent devices, DHCP client/server and Ethernet sockets in addition to serial protocols.

The ZM505 Weight Indicator is also compatible with a wide range of other weighing platforms, including truck, bench and floor scales and scales for batching, counting and checkweighing.
