The procedure would involve the Authorized Service Provider bringing the full capacity of weights to customers premises and performing various tests from the Measurement Canada field inspection manual to prove that the equipment is accurate and working to the correct tolerances.

This test normally takes longer than a standard calibration test and depending on the machine capacity can sometimes require additional resources provided by customer.
